Below are some of the settlement and employment services for newcomer women, which can be accessed at Compass to connect
2 weeks program to provide visible minority women with CLB 7 or higher with job search support, resume building, and more.
Offers 4 weeks of training and paid job placements for newcomer women with minimum CLB 4 and with little or no previous experience.
Free one-on-one counselling including abuse and crisis counselling, mental health counselling, and self-esteem coaching.
Peer supporters provided one-on-one support and mentorship to women by phone, e-mail, or in-person to deal with everyday challenges.
Includes support for women such as community-based counselling who have experienced trauma in their lives, developing safety plans, and more.
